Empire Martial Arts was originally founded in 1994 as a Judo and Iaido school by Colin Hutchinson, under the direction of Mitsuhiro Kondo, Shizuya Sato and Kenji Tose.

It has grown over the years into a multi-style association offering membership in all Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai and other Asian martial arts.

TEMAA is a leading member of the United Kingdom Budo Federation which was founded in 2005 originally under the name International Martial Arts Federation Great Britain.

UKBF was a founder member of the English Karate Federation

* If you are an individual who would like to join a martial arts club you can apply for membership of the Bushinkai Academy

* If you are an instructor who would like to change associations you can apply for club membership of TEMAA.

* If you head an association and would like affiliation to a prestigious governing body you can apply for membership of UKBF.
